Production Labourer

Padman Stops is an industry leader of manufacturing innovative irrigation solutions for Australian farmers. Based in Strathmerton, primarily a precast concrete manufacturer with most of our products fitted with water control doors. We also design and assemble our own range of Electro-Mechanical Automation products.

With a safety and quality driven culture being a great communicator on all levels will be vital to the success of this role.

We have several openings for Team Members in our production areas which conducts pre-fabricated mesh and manufactures concrete production components.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and pouring moulds and building mesh cages for production
Production of components/sub-assemblies for fitting of products
Completes job sheets for tracking material usage and job costings
Ensures OH&S policies are followed and assists in the continuous improvement of safety procedures.
Ensures standard work procedures are followed, in order to produce consistently high quality products
Operation of light machinery

Skills and experience

• Concrete or precast experience
  Trade background or mechanical aptitude highly regarded
  Experience in a manufacturing environment
  Experience in working in a team environment
  Forklift license highly regarded
